I've for many years been using the Logitech Pop buttons to fill a key gap in the Wemo smart plug functionality, which is to be able to turn on a device without fumbling for an app. While my system was a Smart Home 1.0 they have served me well, but now I'm upgrading to a 2.0 system on Domoticz...
... I can't find any threads on these buttons, now discontinued sadly - but surely I can't be the only Domoticz user to have gone down this path?
I understand that the buttons are Bluetooth-LE and the hub is homekit compatible. There is integration support with IFTTT, but one of my goals with Domoticz was to have my home control system running within my local network, and so routing the 'on' signal up to the cloud doesn't feel like a good solution.
I'd be grateful for any thoughts on the topic - although I suspect everyone is going to steer me towards Zwave or Zigbee replacements...
