"Error loading config or incorrect config data!"

Post by coolchilli »

Hi everyone. I'm still relatively new to home automation, and have found this forum invaluable in getting me this far, so thank you all!

I have an issue with the Weather tab, which when I click says "No Weather sensors found or added in the system...". When I click the blue forecast button on the top right, I then get the message "Error loading config or incorrect config data!".

Google says there are zero results for this verbatim of the error message. Am I the first person to have this problem, or am I doing something totally daft?

Thanks in advance for the community support in helping me :)

Normally user interface issues are solved with clearing your browser cache, see wiki for detailed instructions https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Browser_Cache
But do you have any weather devices in your system? As then this "error" is logical..... You can add Buienradar (dutch only) https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Buienradar or Open Weather Map https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Open_Weather_Map

Did you set your location in menu setup - settings?

I just wanted to say thank you for helping me with this.

OpenWeatherMap was all setup correctly (I think), but the lat/long in Settings hadn't been. That was the culprit!

Hopefully this thread is helpful to other users in future :)
