Timers etc when z2m in pairing mode ?

Strange question I know, I have a socket set to come on 1hr before sunset but tonight it failed, there was nothing in the log at the correct time for when it should have happened as there has been previously, the only thing I can think of was at about that time I was pairing some other devices so the question is does anyone know if when the coordinator is in pairing mode does it still respond to normal commands for switching things on and off, especially timers etc.

I’m using domoticz beta 14382 with z2m 1.26
