Aqara zigbee PIR not showing in Domoticz
Using Conbee II with Phoscon / Deconz, Domoticz plugin installed (latests version)
In Phoscon I can see the device and it detects movement, it also shows the temp, light level and battery info. In Domoticz the only device I can see is the light level sensor, what am I missing ?
TIA
Dave

Hello.
If you can see it in phoscon, you need to see it in domoticz, the 2 applications use the same API.
On domoticz, this device create 2 widgets (and they are not on same tab), you can take a look in the "device" tab to be sure they are enabled.
If you realy don't see it, on the "hardware" tab select as debug level "debug info only" and restart the plugin (hardware/deconz/update) you will have some information during the loading.

Hi Thorgal789,
Many thanks for your quick response and appologies for the delay in replying (family support has to take priority over Domoticz tinkering) anyway I have found the device in question - I obviously didn't look hard enough, it was right in front of me but I just didn't see it
Cheers
Dave

I guess there is a bug somewhere....
HW:Rasp 3+
SW: Buster
I've been using the "simple-blue" theme and when I installed Deconz the descriptors to many of its fields were missing... I believe a bug.
Caused me a lot of confusion as I had never seen the screens before. I didn't know what was missing. So much confusion that the air turned blue to match the theme.
After 2 days, yes days, changing the theme to "default" allowed me to install it properly. Call me stupid but...
Anyhow I can now see my 2 water alarm sensors in the Custom/Deconz menu. My question is, how do I show their status somewhere. Where do I find the instructions?

Re: Aqara zigbee PIR not showing in Domoticz
Yeah some theme are not working with custom page, have the issue too.
But the custom/deconz menu is more for deconz configuration, like sensor specific setting.
You don't need it for domoticz usage, if you want to see a sensor
- Go on "devices" tab (on domoticz setting, not custom)
- You will see your devices list
- find the sensor you want
- clic on the green arrow "add device"
- you will see it on corresponding tab in domoticz (temperature/meteo/switch/ ect ...)

Re: Aqara zigbee PIR not showing in Domoticz
The devices are not appearing although I have been to "settings, allow new new hardware devices" several times.
I also clicked on "allow joins" in case it would have some useful effect. I have no idea what it is supposed to do.
The error log shows Any idea what I am doing wrong? What incorrect settings might be allowing me to get this far but no further?

Re: Aqara zigbee PIR not showing in Domoticz
Thoses device are probably in the plugin database because you don't have the error message
Can you enable loging in the hardware page "debug info only", you will have more usefull lines around the red one (but not error status)
Can you check direclty in the API what is the sensor 4 exemple ? and show me the device json ?
Can use the frontend in custom / deconz, or Phoscon/help/API INformation/sensors/ 4
When you restart the plugin, domoticz resynchronise all the zigbee devices, perhaps you have usefull logs at this moment too. For me the issue start here, the plugin list all zigbee device, add them to the plugin database but not in domoticz, but why ....
But the plugin can't find them in domoticzWebsocket error, unknown device >

Well I only have the two water alarm sensors but the default daylight sensor is still listed. I will delete that.

Should I reset everything and start again? Could it be that I am using the incorrect internal port?

Re: Aqara zigbee PIR not showing in Domoticz
There is not a big danger, but better to remove the first part, there is your public IP.
The device json is in the front end, on the "sensor" tab, informations are less sensibles (I don't need them ATM, they are on the starting logs)
I m looking logs, but yes there is a problem on domoticz side
Are you sure the setting is still checked in domoticz ?
On domoticz / setting / hardware / accept new hadrwares devices ?

Re: Aqara zigbee PIR not showing in Domoticz
Thanks what does it mean that they are all Unit 1? I tried deleting the Daylight sensor but it came back on reboot so I guess that I must put it in the Blacklist file.

Re: Aqara zigbee PIR not showing in Domoticz
No the problem is from domoticz.
The plugin try to use the first free unit, so the 1, and as domoticz block them, it use again the 1 at next sensor (because it was still free).
For me your domoticz settings block new sensor creation.

Re: Aqara zigbee PIR not showing in Domoticz
Have you tried with Zigbee2MQTT ? This is the new way and works without issue

Re: Aqara zigbee PIR not showing in Domoticz
This issue will be same using Zigbee2MQTT , it s domoticz that block new device creation, nothing to see with plugin.
For the "This is the new way", it s a joke, news are from the "zigbee for domoticz plugin" that have a wonderfull front end and "works without issue" is something relative.

Re: Aqara zigbee PIR not showing in Domoticz
So when I was advised to allow new devices I assumed that that meant for 5 minutes, not permanently.
If I allow it permanently then I get the following error messages.
2022-07-20 20:32:07.744 Error: deconz-bridge: CConnection_disconnect, disconnection request from 'deconz-bridge' ignored. Transport does not exist.
2022-07-20 20:32:07.798 Error: (FindModule) Domoticz/DomoticzEx modules not found in interpreter.

2022-07-20 20:32:37.101 Error: deconz-bridge: Startup failed. retrying....
I feel like I'm a bit closer to a solution but...

Re: Aqara zigbee PIR not showing in Domoticz
Changing this setting haven't impact on connection, it's another problem.
You have this error when your connexion are good, the deconz gateway is accessible but not ready. Can be the conbee unplugged, take a look in Phoscon / Gateway if you can see a firmware number.
Can just try to restart the plugin (all is reseted, nothing is memorised) Hardware panel / deconz / update
