TUYA PIR Devices

Post by robgeerts »

I have a few wifi doorsensors, and a few zigbee door sensors.
All connected in my TUYA app.

I cant see them in my Domoticz.
I found topics of few years ago that it doesnt work, but does anyone have an idea if it should work by now?

To my knowledge, only switches work (lights and powerplugs), not sensors.
You could try IFTTT https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/IFTTT_int ... h_Domoticz

@robgeerts
I use a workaround.
If you have a spare smart plug (or smart light bulb), you can tie that to a sensor with a rule in your app.
The smart plug is registered in Domoticz, and then you have an (indirect) sensor in Domoticz.

Well, it does turn on/off the extra switch I added in TUYA and I also added that switch in Domoticz but somehow this (status)change is not detected by Domoticz :(

Which plug-in do you use?
Tuya Plugin Controls TUYA devices your network (mainly on/off switches and Lights) https://github.com/Xenomes/Domoticz-TUYA-Plugin
Tuya Controls TUYA devices your network (mainly on/off switches and Lights) https://github.com/guino/tuyaha
I use the second (tuyaha) in combination with the Smart Life app

Well, the first one is based on the second one, just with some additions, so i dont think there is a big difference?

To be clear, i dont see any status change in DomoticZ of any device i turn on/off in the tuya app.

It shouldn't make a difference, I agree.

But there must be a difference somewhere. I have 11 tuya devices (bulbs and powerplugs), and all change on status changes (some react on rules in Smart Life) and dzVents reacts perfectly on device status changes.

[Edit]
Possible idea:
You should not add the devices yourself, the tuya plugindoes that for you.
Make sure new devices are allowed, restart Domoticz check the devices Setup tab->devices.

All new bulbs/switches i add in Tuya are seen in Domoticz, so no problem there.
