Switch 2 wall plugs

Post by Varazir »

Hello,

I have 2 Telldus - TZWP-102 Plug-in Switch+ devices and one of them stopped working.
Need have measure the power usages on my computer ( that is broken ).
The second is connected to my 3D printer.

How can I replace the broken with the working and keep the data for that device ?
Don't care that much for my printers.

Once you have replaced the broken zwave plugin switch and connected it to Domoticz: In Domoticz you have the replace function for devices. Old historic values will be taken over by the new device. See wiki page https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Managing_ ... ace_device
Domoticz running on Udoo X86 (on Ubuntu)
Devices/plugins: ZigbeeforDomoticz (with Xiaomi, Ikea, Tuya devices), Nefit Easy, Midea Airco, Omnik Solar, Goodwe Solar

Do remember to make a backup of your domoticz.db before starting this action: it is somewhat counter intuitive which switch gets replaced by which. So you may have to restore and try again the other way around.

You may alternatively try inserting the history from the one device into the other's in the domoticz.db database using sqlite3. You can use that to execute select and insert statements directly on the database to copy the data in the meter_calendar table for the old device into the same table for the new device. Again, I do need to urge you to make proper backups before attempting this....
