Domoticz with alexa without external server

Hello everybody, I'm a beginner with domoticz, and I don't want to be chinese server dependant like sonoff or zigbee. My goal is to be autonomous. I know if I use alexa my vice will be sent to amazon but I don't want when it come back go to lambda or iftt or another web service that is not at my home. For sonoff I tasmotize them. For zigbee I make a zigbee2mqtt on my server. For alexa I try with my own skill that was functional but not easy because I need to say "alexa skill popeye : allume le salon" . I don't know if there is another solution. Or Google home ? Thx for your reply.

Welcome to this Domoticz forum

You can search this Forum for Alexa and you will find some topics.
You can also take the Node-RED route, with is a nice companion to Domoticz, but also other Home Automation systems.

Also Google Home is a possibility. Several options exists, both paid and free.

It is up to you, whether you will use Amazon or Google.

You might look into Mycroft. I got it working but it will need an extra RPi as it is CPU demanding.
