Future temperature

I've read this before in this forum, but i can't find it again.

To control my underfloor heating. I would like a script to :
read temperature sensor - store value
read temperature sensor after 15 minutes - compare value
Multiply the difference with a constant, like 8 to get a 2 hour future prediction.

Can anybody help me with a script, or remember the topic?
