hi!
well that luck was short lived, the problem came back,
i get this in the log:
OpenZWave: Received unhandled notification type (30) from HomeID: 0, NodeID: 0 (0x00)
and then the z-wave network wont start, so i have to remove the zwcfg file and reboot the pi, then i works again, but after the next reboot i often get this error in the log:
2020-03-19 21:58:30.671 Error: OpenZWave: Type_Notification, NodeID not found internally!. HomeID: 3946733487, NodeID: 255 (0xff)
and if im deleting a node domoticz chrashes.
what could be wrong?
i really cant trust this homeautomation anymore.

Did you investigate that area, to make sure your controller is starting on the right/same foot after each reboot ?

Re: open zwave totally gone after reboot
i had to go back to version 11674 of domoticz, now it works great, but i still get the error: OpenZWave: Received unhandled notification type (30) from HomeID: 0, NodeID: 0 (0x00)
but the z-wave will starts anyway, so i guess that i have to live with that error.

In Domoticz hardware management, click on openzwave device, button Node Management. There is an entry Download configuration file. Or something like that (I have a translated domoticz).
Domoticz 2020.1 (12230) on Raspberry Pi 3B with Raspian Buster. Besides Domoticz, Rpi is running Pi-Hole.

Re: open zwave totally gone after reboot
What should this button do?
Clicking this button results in an empty webpage (http://192.168.178.141:8984/zwavegetconfig.php?idx=10); nothing else happens...
Note: I'm running Domoticz (V2020.2) on my Synology NAS (maybe this makes a difference).
I'm asking, because a (stupid) action in another utility resulted in an empty configuration (only the controller itself is listed):
However, all the devices are still present in Domoticz (devices, scenes, switches ect.). Only in the hardware settings the node list of the Aeotec Z-WavePlus controller is empty.
I'm looking to recover from this, because it would be a lot of work to include all those devices back in the network again, resulting in different device ID's, not matching the devices still left in the rest of Domoticz.
Note: I will open a new thread about recovering a lost Z-wave configuration.
Edit:
I remembered there was a backup button in the Open Z-wave Control Panel, but I can't find that button anymore; seems to be disappeared. I've found proof that this button actually did exist in this post.
Now I wonder, does this button has the same functionality as the download configuration button described some posts ago, and where is the restore button?

Re: open zwave totally gone after reboot
Hello all,
I have the same problem.
I'm running Domoticz on windows, I have this problem with my oldest windows 10 tablet that is running domoticz, but now I switched to a surface pro 7.
I thought that it was coming from my old tablet, but I still have the problem with the new one...
All is running, but sometimes ozwave fail and I loose all my node, everything is blank.
Restarting Domoticz don't work, I have to shut off the computer, unplug the controller, plug it again and start the computer for ozwave coming again with all my node. It looks like that he controller is not powered, and doing that wake up it.
Do you know what can I do to investigate ?
It's annoying, I have more than 50 nodes, alarm, boiler, radiator...
Thanks

Maybe a power saving problem. Window uses power policies for usb devices, which is set to automatic by default. Check in control panel your usb configuration and disable power management if necessary.

I assume you created persistent UB devices as described in the link???
