Unifi Protect, anyone?
Is anyone aware of any Domoticz integrations with Unifi protect? I'd like to use Domoticz to enhance the Doorbell experience, but Google is just confused when I combine "domoticz" (It includes anything "domotica" for instance) and "unifi protect"...

Hi, @FearNaBoinne
Would this be of help?
https://github.com/terafin/mqtt-unifi-protect-bridge.
If you have the data available in MQTT, Node Red can be used to get the data in Domoticz?
Regards

There is a unifi Plugin https://github.com/Wizzard72/Domoticz-Unifi-Presence
Perhaps it has your required functionality. Did you already see it?

I'll have a look at the MQTT option...
The Unifi Presence plugin is for Unifi Network, not Unifi Protect...

Re: Unifi Protect, anyone?
I am struggling with the same question but in different context. Need to integrate motion detection/PIR and lux measurement.
Would love to pull any motion detected by any Unifi camera (Unifi Video - not necessarily (decommissioned?) Unifi Protect) rather than installing multiple ZWAVE-motion detectors.
Is anybody aware whether this is feasible with Unifi Video and, less relevant for the moment, whether unifi cameras can also be used for LUX measurement?

There is a HA component" based on Python Library https://github.com/briis/pyunifiprotect
So someone with Python knowledge can write a similar plugin for Domoticz ore use it in python scripts to trigger devices.
