So, i'm thinking about buying a smart doorbell, and i have some questions:
How do you get notified in the house without smartphone? Does this use the old door bell ringer?
We have google home minis, is it possible to get a notification here when someone rings?
Is the subscription required? I don't need cloud storage.
Can i display the camera view on a chromecast?
Do you guys know any alternatives that work with google home? The ring doorbell is a lot cheaper, but doesn't support this.
If there are any other things you think i need to know before buying, let me know

Re: Nest Hello right for me?
I have a wuux that I bought cheap off someone else. Integrates with Alexa but not with Google (yet). It requires no subscription and can use an sd card for storage next to optional cloud storage.
There's no other integrations I know of unfortunately.
