Could not open SBFspot configuration file

I am using Domoticz on a Raspberry Pi and SBFspot (SMA solar inverters) on another Raspberry Pi, called SolarPi.
Set-up of Domoticz asks for het location of the SBFspot config file, which in my case is //SolarPi/usr/local/bin/sbfspot.3/SBFspot1.cfg/.
This file is public and its directory is a Samba share. Also, both pi's can communicate via ssh.
But the Domoticz log keeps saying "Can't open configuration file!"
Any thoughts?
