I have a similar issue with temperature sensors not updating in Domoticz, but doing fine in Z2m.
My setup is 2 Aqara temperature +humidity sensors. They are connected to an Rpi with z2m and Slaesh's CC2652RB stick.
The link quality is fine. And z2m receives updates every minute or so and publishes them over MQTT. However, in Domoticz I only see a reading from over 12 hours ago. The graphs in Domoticz show very irregular updates as well, so it is not a one-time issue.

How can I fix this? It looks like in Domoticz not all updates are processed. Are they throttled somewhere?
What happens if I remove one of the temp devices. Will the z2m plugin add it automatically again? (and if not how do I add back manually?

Especially with the wintery spell coming up here in the Netherlands, I am very anxious for continuous temperature updates:-)

Hi,

why do I have this in my devices under zigbee hardware - data column:

Code: Select all

{"type": "response", "requestId": 7, "isError": false, "payload": "digraph G {\nnode[shape=record];\n \"0x00124b001ccc574e\" [style=\"bold, filled\", fillcolor=\"#e04e5d\", fontcolor=\"#ffffff\", label=\"{Coordinator|0x00124b001ccc574e (0)|0 seconds ago}\"];\n \"0x00124b00226748a5\" [style=\"rounded, dashed, filled\", fillcolor=\"#fff8ce\", fontcolor=\"#000000\", label=\"{IC Sonoff|0x00124b00226748a5 (42067)|SONOFF Motion sensor (SNZB-03)|3 hours, 22 minutes ago}\"];\n \"0x00124b00226748a5\" -> \"0x00124b001ccc574e\" [penwidth=1, weight=0, color=\"#994444\", label=\"170\"]\n}"}
from time to time that changes:

Code: Select all

	{"type": "response", "requestId": 7, "isError": false, "payload": []}

For a few weeks back i had a ikea router.
But i was not happy with it. The zigbee network lines where gone and a couple of devices didn't work.
Removed the ikea router, and after a reboot of zigbee2mqtt, the devices worked again.
But i still needed a router.

Ordered the parts for a cc2530-cc2591.
Made a housing for it and now i have a smill, this works much better than the ikea router

Zigbee2MQTT- MQTT-Domoticz

Post by AxelvanH »

Hey all,

I feel i have tried it all.... So I hope you can help me...
I have Zibgee2mqtt, MQTT and Domoticz running (all on the same Synology NAS), but no device gets populated into Domoticz :(

I followed the instructions on: https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/ and installed it as a Docker
Zigbee2mqtt seems to work as it connected to two devices and reports them:

Zigbee2Mqtt:

I Installed MQTT in a seperate docker, which seems to run fine. As I see the service starting and connections coming in.
(replaced the MQTT docker with the Mosquitto Synology app, but same result)

I have looked at all settings but can't seem to find it... I installed "Zigbee2MqttAssistant" but that does not help in problem solving.
Most probably it is something stupid, but I don't see it...

Can you help?

Thank you! How stupid indeed.... I was only focused on the "MQTT Client Gateway with LAN interface" that I didn't see that one.
Seemed a already passed station. Now it works!

I don't know if I'm good on this topic?
but I have the following question:
I bought a Tuya Zigbee gateway and connected it to Domoticz via the plugin (Tuya Cloud).
(https://github.com/guino/tuyaha) followed all instructions and it seems to work....
however when starting Domoticz I get the following message:

2021-09-12 10:08:01.535 Tuya: (Tuya) Device count: 0

And so no devices were found, anyone have an idea?

Nothing to do with zigbee2mqtt. This is the correct topic for the tuya cloud plugin: https://domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=33145

I have a strange problem. Zigbee2MQTT plugin was working well on another raspberry pi.
Zigbee2MQTT is running. I can connect zigbee2mqtt plugin from 1 Raspberry pi. But on the new one I am able to connect the plugin, the devices show up in device tab of Domoticz, but.... The Custom - Zigbee2MQTT plugin tab does not load. I do see:
the title: Zigbee2Mqtt
Devices, Groups, Network Map and Plugin Configuration, but below that, only Loading ..

It is possible the add these zigbee devices from the Domoticz device page and I can control these. But the plugin page does not load.

In the Log:

Then version 3.0.0 is installed. That version is working!

Same here...
Because of sudden Z2M issues, I updated Z2M plugin from 3.0 to 3.1 and Domoticz from 2021.1 stable to todays beta...
Worst decision ever made! Reverted the Z2M plugin to 3.0 and had to configue all of my Z2M devices in Domoticz again. Don't update if not needed!!!

....... had to configue all of my Z2M devices in Domoticz again. Don't update if not needed!!!
No backup made before the update to revert to? ;)
As stupid as it sounds... No  .
Everything is working fine again. Latest Domoticz beta and Z2M plugin v3.0.
v3.1 didn't work for me. The custom Z2M plugin page wouldn't load anymore and my selector buttons went crazy. Reported it, but I won't update for a while now (unless I backup first...)

Zigbee2MQTT & PIR

Post by rolandtwilt »

friends of the digital house, I have a problem with Zigbee2MQTT.
When I add a motion sensor it only works once in a minute.
only gives a signal to Domoticz once a minute, even if there are 10 movements every 60 seconds.
It seems that this is controlled in the device itself.

Also, I'm wondering if I should pair all 5 devices when pairing?
because besides the motion detector I see 4 other devices such as 2 times a light switch and twice general.

And last question; there is no log with the zigbee motion detector (regardless of brand and type)
Not even after CTRL + F5

What can you advise me?

Thank you very much and greetings!

Hi,

I try to ask my Question here, not open an extra Thread.

Since 2022.04.02 I have Problems with some of my Devices, not all, just some.

I tried to restart mosquito, restart the Raspi, restart Domoticz also and the zigbee2mqtt.
All running on the same Raspi and working fine since Weeks now.

What can i try to get them running again?
Anyone idea welcome :)
