Refresh Tradfri status in Domoticz

Post by JanvdW »

The Tradfri lamps in my Domoticz setup (2020.2 (build 12705)) are working fine, as long as I switch them on and off via Domoticz. But when the bulb is switched on/off manually (so by a physical power on/off), the Domoticz status is not updated. How can I check the Tradfri status regularly and update the Domoticz status with the current status?

I suggest that you mention what Zigbee key you are using, or if this is based on the IKEA TRadfri gateway

I use a CC2531 USB sniffer and used this installation instruction.

I found similar problems for Domoticz/ Zigate and Philips Hue (and this post too), but I didn't succeed to find a solution fo my Domoticz. I made a script to loop through my Tradfri lamps and I can change the the bulb status on and off rather easily. The problem is that I can't detect which bulbs are unreachable (because they are not powered, because manually switched off). How can I check that?

On Domoticz beta, we have added an option, which then will Switch Off a Switch/Dim device if that one is not reachable on the network.
You have to got to Settings - Advanced and enable : deviceOffWhenTimeOut

I have updated to the newest version (Version: 2020.2 (build 12838)), but can't find this option. I have looked in the menu 'Setup' 'Settings' in the web interface. I suppose that I should look somewhere else?

I’m talking about the Web Admin page of Zigate plugin

Ah, right. Unfortunately I do not use Zigate, but the CC2531 Zigbee Adapter, so his doesn't solve my problem. Does anyone have other ideas how to solve this?
