how to access iphone battery level?

Post by wkossen »

Hi there,

I'ld like to get my iphone batterylevel into domoticz to turn off the charger when it's full, so i don't overcharge and burn my house down. the darn thing gets hot fast. oh, and i like saving some power too....

I also like free options.

I know i can get the batterylevel from owntracks, but that doesn't update regularly enough to be useful
i probably could get batterylevel from icloud plugins, but i can't get those working at all, lots of errors. (oh, and i have two factor enabled)

any ideas? Searching a lot on google or this forum really does not provide me with clear information at all, but i might have missed something.

Thanks for any pointers.

Cheers
Willem

I make use of a “NEO Coolcam Z-WAVE PLUS NAS-WR01ZE EU” and a small blockly script.
That will do the job.
- RFXtrx433E,
- AEON Labs ZW090 Z-Stick Gen5 EU
- Hue v2.1
- Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, Raspbian Stretch Full on USB-Stick.
- Domoticz 4.11474
Devices: KaKu, Z-Wave, Hue.

for testing:
Raspberry 4, 2GB, SSD
Domoticz 2022.1
Ikea Hub, Fyrtur curtain

You can use a charging cable with sensor.
