Standby Perils

Post by Enz0jacco »

Hey Guys,

just some non really important questions:

1. Is it possible to change the standby screen background to a different color instead of an image?

2. Once dashticz is in standby mode and I tap the screen obviously dashticz goes to the normal screen. However, the first tap also switches a light or any other device for that matter. Just to be clear, I need to tap in the corners (once dashticz is in standby mode) to prevent switching a light/device which I cannot see because it is in standby mode. long story but I hope I made myself clear.

thnx!

1)

Code: Select all

.screenstandby {
    background-color: red !important
}
2)
That's a bug. I'll look into that.

I see this behavior only on specific devices (Chromebook, your system)

Not on laptop, android phone, ipad, android tablet.

It seems that mouse/click/touch events are handled/reported differently. Also the issue with the 'hovered' state you reported last week was related to this, I guess.

I've fixed this in latest beta.

Can you please double check that you are on the latest version? Dashticz should report in settings (upper right icon)->Info tab:
Dashticz 3.7 master, or 3.7.0 beta

Which browser do you use?

Hi,

Is it possible to change the timer to return to rhe stanby screen after the last screen touch.
No is it configured to return to the standby screen after 60sec, which is good when you just need to put the lights on but not if you need check something out or handle a device.
Of course you can change the delay, but this not always needed

What's your system? On my laptop and on my android tablet the standby timer resets after every touch ...
