Friends of hue switch with Zigate

Hi,

Anyone got a Friends of Hue (FOH) switch with Zigate zigbee stick to work? I bought such a FOH switch but I can't get it recognized.

It is somehow hard to give you answer, but are you sure the FOH is on the right channel where the ZiGate key is listening.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I did check this. The ZiGate appears not to react on the pairing command from the FOH switch. Tried with the Windows gui for the ZiGate as well, but no luck.

Yes, but did you try to make sure that the FOH is on the same channel as the ZiGate ?

Yes, I did try that. The channel is 25 which means that I need to press the lowest-right button on the wall switch for more than 7 seconds to start pairing. Double checked but no luck. Suggestions are welcome.

The FOH Switch is not recognized in any way by the Zigate zigbee usb. Maybe the Zigate is not (yet) compatible with FOH devices?

can you give me a pointer where to buy it , I'll consider to order one for test/integration purposes.

Is there battery inside the switch , or are they self-generated energy.

So yes, not support from Zigate at that time. This is also called Green Zigbee. I understood that Zigate V2 might/would support it, but no news for now on when the V2 will be available.

Aha, thanks for the reply. I was afraid of that. These devices appear one after another, so the makers of Zigate should hurry to implement support for these kind of devices.
