Come to think of it, this kind of layout as we have in the mobile view would be perhaps the best.

It might mean the tile should be a bit wider (or selector levels scrollable like they are in the normal view) yet more compact than on the normal view. So that at least four columns would fit on an iPad screen (1024 pixels wide). In my previous theme (elemental) I can see 4 columns and 7 rows of tiles on an iPad screen and hopefully at least that or a bit more would fit to machinon as well :)

With elemental theme:

Dashticz is something I might look into again - it’s been a few years since I last set it up. Back then I was not fully satisfied with what I was able to do and even getting to that point took a while. So as I have pretty much all I need in Domoticz, ideally I’d just like to use a nice-looking theme and that’s it :) I’m afraid that with a custom Dashticz implementation I’d need to continuously modify it when adding new devices etc.

ever since the latest update, my samsung android phone gives me hassle on the main dashboard: it shows fine at first but then blanks out completely after a few seconds only showing sun up/down and the room selector. Everything else is gone :-(. it happens on chrome as well as on firefox. Switching it to desktop works fine...

yes, same problem over here. I did reset the theme and removed all the history/cache of my mobile trying to fix it but i won't. Another problem that i have is that the save button in the events coding environment is gone. i have to use ctrl-s to safe now.

in GitHub both problems are labeled to be fixed in milestone 1.6.2. We have to be patient.

Same issue here. No problems on mobile phone and PC. On Ipad2 Machinon theme won't show properly and is all messed up.
Clearing settings and cache isn't helping.

As per the last comment on https://github.com/domoticz/Machinon/issues/32 from DeKnep, commenting out line 92 in custom.js temporarily fixes this issue.

In my case it doesn't. Have refreshed the theme... Have cleared the browser cache...
I have put /* in front of the line and */ behind the line. That should be ok, right?

In my case, I have both a machinon and a machinon-beta folder. Weirdly, both have the same code and the same line 92. If you have the same then you need to change it for the theme you have selected in settings. If that's already the case then I don't know.

I only have one Machinon folder and that is the theme I have selected.

This is what the line looks like now:
/* searchFunction(); */

It is no problem that there are a lot of spaces behind /*, right?
And should I end the comment section after or before the semi colon? I expect after.... because I need to comment out the whole line...right?

My bad.... I thought this would fix the misalignment in the events script tab as well. It doesn't and it is nowhere suggested it does :)

I've just got back from holidays and I have fixed this bug in beta branch and also other issues reported in Github.
I'm waiting for more details on issue #41 and then I'll release 1.16.2

Great! I just closed #41 as it was an issue on my end.

I can confirm it works like a charm in the beta!

Hello !

I’ve just installed the theme but I have a small problem.
I can see some of the icons that come with the theme, but not all of them.
In the directory .../domoticz/www/styles/machinon/images I can see for example an outdoor camera, but this icon is not available when I wan’t to use it to customize a switch.
Do you have a clue ?

By the way great work, I use domoticz for a few years and with this them it’s completely new !

Thanks

Marc

Did you clear the browser cache? Did you refresh the theme?
