Hi,
I've used a couple of temperature sensors and a water leak / flood sensor from Xiaomi (Aqara) with their gateway for quite a while.
After purchasing a ZiGate I have dumped the Xiaomi gateway and added all sensors successfully to the ZiGate and back in Domoticz.
After adding the water leak sensor I decided to test it. When I drop it in water nothing happens in Domoticz. It's standard added as an On/Off switch by ZiGate. I already tried to change it to motion sensor but without luck. Can anyone tell me how I can configure this water leak sensor right so I can set up notifications when there is a real water leak?
Many thanks in advance!

Re: Aqara water leak sensor
I have 5 of them on ZiGate and they work fine. Did you connect them to ZiGate on their final place or did you move them after joining?
If you moved them, can you short press it on top. This will force a rejoin.
To test them you can hold two wet fingers on the metal contacts on the bottom. It should switch to on right away.

That was the problem. I did moved it to test the unit. I replaced the battery (just to be sure), removed it from Domoticz and rejoined it to ZiGate. Works like a charm now! With Telegram notification I'm well prepared if there's any leakage.ronaldbro wrote: ↑Tuesday 14 July 2020 23:14 I have 5 of them on ZiGate and they work fine.
