Cheap working 433mhz smoke detectors.

Post by Hanss »

Dear readers,

To start with… I love to work with Domoticz because it's very easy to use. :D

But I also noticed a downside. It looks like that new devices are not added frequently (HCL) or maybe I am looking at the wrong places.

So my question is:
Is there a good, cheap, stable and reliable 433mhz smoke detector available that works flawlessly with Domoticz (e.g. start/stop at a click of a button)? With cheap I mean 10-20 Euro’s per piece.

Thank you in advance for replying to my question.

Best regards,

Hans

Thank you for your reply! :-)

Yes, I did that, but all the provided information is not updated.
URL's are not working and the recommended devices are not available anymore.

Best regards,

Hans

I have these ones myself; LM-101LC, (bought in Norway), but I think they are generic and sold everywhere

I looked it up and this is definitely, what I was looking for.
Thank you very much!!! :-) :-)

I have one last question before buying this equipment.

Is it possible to stop the alarm via a blockly scripts in Domoticz?

This works flawlessly with my current smoke detector (Flamingo).
The reason is that, if there is a false alarm, I like to remotely shut the alarm because I have two dogs at home. They will go crazy (get traumatized).

Mine are chiming for about 10 seconds I think. If sensor is retriggered they keep chiming and I have to use the security panel to switch them off

How do you add these to Domoticz?
Thanks.
