sudo apt-get update
sudo apt full-upgrade

sudo apt full-upgrade ; gives the error.

Tried everything on the site you recommended but I still get the same error in the end.

i a m sorry to hear that
does sudo apt-get upgrade work?
if not, i would recommend a fresh install of buster.
downside is that all your config needs to be redone.
- additional packages
- cron config
- scripts
- other s/w installed.

sorry i cannot be of more help.
Regards,

Rob
