Anna presets do update but do not trigger an event/log

Hello.

Recently I have installed a Plugwise Anna Thermostat and in fact it works well from Domoticz (even with the very new 4.x firmware of the Smile), but there is one thing I don't think is good.

When I select a different preset on the Anna thermostat itself, after a while (with a sensor update) the Preset switch in Domoticz also gets updated but it doesn't trigger an event or a log item in Domoticz. So the switch in Domoticz displays the new state (Home, Away, Night, Vacation) but the event trigger is not happening and in the log this change isn't listed. The other way around, when I select a preset in Domoticz, then it does fire, logs and updates the Anna/Smile, so that way is working correctly.

Is this some kind of bug in the update of the switch, or is it something that has a workaround? I hope that it can be fixed because my events (like the automatic going off of the heating at night) depend on it.

Hi Iedjee,

i added the preset function a while ago to the plug in, but had little time to look at at until now.
I'm testing a version now that has some small changes to the reliability of the plug in.
I think what you saying is that if you change the preset on the anna OUTSIDE Domoticz on the Anna or via you plugwise app,, domoticz will eveuntuel show the new preset, but will not fire an change event you can react on in domoticz.

unlike the event that is fired when you change the preset INSIDE domoticz (that works tested with blocky)

I'm looking if i can fix that too, let me know if my assumtion on you issue is correct or there is more to tinker

The latest beta has a version that has a fix for Your issue.
Only draw back currently is that you will have to remove and add the Plugwise plug-in again

This is to update the internals of the switch to the latest version

Is it possible to enable/disable with domoticz the Thermostat Schedule in the Anna-app?
