Ikea Tradfri bulbs in a Group

Post by marktn »

Hi,

I need some help with a dzVents, i think that is the best for what i want.

When i switch a group ON, i want my ikea bulbs set to the right color and brightnes.
In my log i see this color, "Color" : "{\"b\":0,\"cw\":0,\"g\":212,\"m\":3,\"r\":255,\"t\":0,\"ww\":0}",

Anybody an example to get started?

Mark

Maybe I miss something but would it not be much easier to just set the device color you want when adding the bulbs to the group ?

It looks like you bulb is not defined as color device. If it isn't a color device, setting a color with dzVents or something else will not work either.

Okay, but how to change that. The device is made by zigate, changing it to a color device is not possible.

If you're using zigate then I advice you to create a group in zigate, you'll get a new widget for the group.
Are all your bulbs the same? The possibility of the group is based on the bulb with the least possibilities.

I see the difference, color lights RGB have a color code. The WW lights have no color code.
Copy/paste of the color is not possible for WW lights.
Is there a reason for it?
