Sleeping devices lost at re-start

Post by jeleve »

Hello everybody,
I just have upgraded Domoticz to the 2020.1 version on a Pi 2 B under buster. My network uses an Aeon Z-stick Gen 5. Among 21 devices 14 are working on battery: 12 Hank door contacts and 2 Everspring Motion Sensor and are therefore sleeping most of the time. Everything works fine in normal time.
The problem I have is that when I stop and restart domoticz for any reason, the 14 on-battery sleeping devices loose their connection with domoticz and from there don't communicate anymore their status change when awaken (door opening or closing or motion detected) It is then a fastidious exercise of removing physically the 14 devices and re-include them.
Any idea of what the problem solution may be ?

There are a few problems with openzwave and Domoticz 2020.1.

Like this one: OZW-driver received fatal signal 11

I have also some issues with my zwave devices. They are (I think) busy with the problem. Also on github there are some investigations

Same problem here. After reboot some (not all) battery zwave switches and motion detectors need to manually included.
