Make a "Button" for info

Hello!

I have a garden Automower that i want to get some info on the Dashboard when its out on the grass or Home and loading.

I know how i do in blocky with in/out inputs. But how does i make the "Info Button" on the Dashboard? Can i make a virtual Button? And wich type is it?

HI,

You can create a virtual sensor of the type "Text"
Go to Setup >Hardware and create a new hardware of the type :"Dummy (Does nothing, use for virtual switches only)"
Next step is to create a virtual sensor and select type "Text" and find under Setup > Devices its IDX number.

You can send the text to that IDX number and it will appear. Place that sensor on your Dashboard and your done.

When i have you here, it is some easy way to chance the icon on the "Text" logo?
Or Should i chance the "original" icon in root directory?

No, for a "Text" sensor I do not know how to change the icon in an easy way.

What do you mean with the "original" icon in root directory?

Ok!

I mean that i Will find the original icon. Etc (Icon_txt.png) and replace with my own icon.
The problem is when you have more than one text infos, all of Them gets the new icon.

Sorry for my bad T9 corrections, its i Swedish install.
