Ipad sleep or dim

Hi me again, I have an Ipad 3 Ios 9.3(last one before 10 anyway) running Dashticz 3.4.2 beta
Is there a way to dim the Ipad screen at certain times or have the Ipad wake when something happens?
I have seen the following:

config['standby_call_url'] = '';
config['standby_call_url_on_end'] = '';

but cannot seem to find anything on setting up usage what the url might be etc etc...
Even if the screen could be dimmed by 50% or something.

I think the webbrowser on IOS is not allowed to change the screen brightness.

Nope, I am an apple fan, but for this i had to take a samsung tab only for using dashticz

Cheers for the replies guys, Im sorry for the late reply but for some reason I didnt get notification of the replies, not even when I logged in.

cheers, i'll keep plodding on, I have found a high power charger that keeps te tablet on and charged now
