If it works in Google home app then it should work with voice too.
Don't know what kind of device 'window' is, but maybe you should ask 'close window' if it's a blind.
Maybe it takes some time to transfer the new google settings to the google home.

Just remembered something. In the google home app I configures the google home device in a room and also added some of the Domoticz devices in that room. So that we you ask google to turn on the lights that only the lights in the room turn on and not the complete house...

I'm afraid I can't help you much further. I'm an Apple guy, only my son has a google home. That's the only google device in the house and it's only linked to homebridge.
Basically I reached the end of my google knowledge

ok,
thank you so much, i almost got it working now,
mabee someone else knows why my google home still thinks that controlicz is installed when i have deleted it in the home app, google in my phone works works good with homebridge, but not my home mini.
and i also noticed that temp sensors doesnt work in homebridge, or am i doing anything wrong?

I don't have any problems with temperature sensors, but I only use the single sensors in Homebridge. So only temperature and only humidity and not the THB sensors. Apple HomeKit doesn't support THB sensors. It does support temp/humidity sensors, but you need to click a tile first before you can see the humidity. When using single sensors I can show temp en humidity on two tiles next to each other.
It's not an exact answer to your question, but maybe it helps.

Yep, that's what the note says on github. Sensor devices are not yet supported.

now everything works great, the google assistant works great, the only thing to wish for now is to get the tempsensors working, all the sensors are visible in homebridge but it would be nice if i could ask google for the temperature.

As I have the same issue, with a thermostat, connected by nora node in node red in case the thermostat is in "auto" mode (clock program) I wonder how your sons thermostat is configured, if he asks for the temperature. Also "auto" mode? But I have installed the google plugin too and my son uses his Google home to control the Domoticz devices in his room. This works very good. Only thing that didn’t work was asking Google what the temperature in his room is, but maybe this is also already implemented.

Re: Easiest way to get google home connected to domoticz?
It’s not a thermostat but only a THB sensor.
But looking at the github of the google plugin I think you can ask for the setpoint. Only sensor types are not supported yet.

@ronaldbro
Thanks for your answer. The background is that their seems to be issues with thermostat modes.
I will investigate further.

Sure, see here: https://www.reddit.com/r/homebridge/
This is outside the Domoticz scope so I think you'll have better luck there for questions.

Re: Easiest way to get google home connected to domoticz?
homebridge is working just fine and im very happy with it.
i have noticed one thing though,
sometimes homebridge doesnt update the switches from domoticz, that isnt really a big problem, but let say that the TV switch has been turned off in domoticz, sometimes homebridge doesnt see that, the TV switch is still showing on in homebridge, the problem is then, if it tell google to turn the TV on, homebridge will then not execute the voice command since the TV is set to on in homebridge, even if its really of in domoticz.
Is it possible to get homebridge to execute the on command even if the TV switch is set to on in homebridge?
hope you understand what i mean.

Re: Easiest way to get google home connected to domoticz?
Hi ,
I got it all workingalmost.
In Homebridge i have these 3 plugins : 1.) Homebridge Config UI X 2.) Homebridge Edomoticz 3.) Homebridge Google Smart Home
they are all up to date.
Homebridge and Google home both see my Domoticz devices
I speak to my Google assistant -> GA responds: I will turn on light 1-> Homebridge icon shows the light is on -> Domoticz icon shows light is on but the light is not turned on.
anyone an idea what I missed here ?
thanks in advance
