Weatherunderground not working anymore at Domoticz

Im not getting any updates from weatherunderground anymore at domoticz

it worked for a long time very wel but now i see no refresh date for 1 day . i checked if the location is still present
and that is working when i google to location(its still online )

are other people have teh same problem or is my API Expired ?
i also updated domoticz to the lates of 6-March

This has been discussed quite a lot already You can consider moving to Dark Sky weather for example.

I have the same issue since last night, but get the message:
2019-03-06 04:25:31.089 Error: WUnderground: Error: this key is not valid due to exceeding rate plan

It did work this afternoon for a hour and a half, but is gone again. Seems like IBM now wants you to pay through your nose to get just the temperature and radiation (as it was a better indication for the outside light condition over LUX). For what they charge per month (for information they recieve free from the community) I can buy my own z-wave weather station. As Dark Sky Weather is also not free, I will look for a free alternative

Owners of a PWS (Private Weather Station) can still use weatherunderground.
After I sent an e-mail to [email protected], I received a new API-key.
unfortunately, this key does not work, the json call in domoticz I think still needs to be adjusted.

Looking at the WUnderground-forum I see a message dated 6th of March from Victoria.Gardner that 22th of March 2019 is closure date also for all 'uploading' PWSes.
'Downloading' clients had a closure date of 31st of December 2018, apparently with an ambigious grace-period extending into March 2019.

The date of March 22, 2019 is only applicable for PWS users. "Normal" users, without a private weather station were cut off at March 5 already
March 22 is the final date that PWS users should move from their "old" API key to their "new"API key as their "old" keys will be discontinued.

Dear PWS uploaders, thank you for your continued loyalty and patience!

The gateway for the new API keys for PWS uploaders is open.

If you are not logged in, you will be asked to. The system will also verify that you have a PWS uploading to the system.

You will then see a blank box below “Your API keys”. Agree to the new Terms and Conditions by clicking in the small box next to “I agree”, click on the blue “GENERATE” box, and your new key will be created. The key will be masked on the screen, but you can use the “Show” link below the box to see it. There is also another blue box, which, when clicked, copies the key to your clipboard.
If you have any problems, log out and log back in again. If that does not resolve the problem, please email me at [email protected].

The new API should work immediately once you have the new key in the new commands. Remember that the new keys work on the new API only, and the old keys work on the old API only.

Old API keys that are associated with a PWS will be kept working until March 22, 2019. However, that will be the very last day for those API keys to work, so you should transition as quickly as you can to the new API. API keys not associated with a personal weather station will be disabled at the beginning of March.
