OTA update on Ikea E1743 switch

I managed to OTA update the switch from firmware 2.1.022 to 2.2.008
Everything went fine but it took more the 1 hour to update the switch.
OTA works but very very slow.

How did you do the update ? Which plugin and Zigbee key are you using ?

From timing perspective, I think this is basically how the OTA works and for battery based devices, it takes indeed some time and drain the battery

I am using zigbee2mqtt with a CC2531 stick on a Raspberry PI 3B+
To update the firmware I use the GUI Zigbee2MqttAssistant which is running on Docker on a Synology DS1517+
When there is new Firmware it is shown in Zigbee2MqttAssistant and then there is button to update.
In the zigbee2mqtt log the progress is shown every minute or so, like:
