Hi Folks,
I recently purchased a Heiman HS1HT-Z+ Temp/Hum sensor from China. I was intending to use this as my main living room temperature sensor for heating control. However, it looks like the device is pretty useless.
It turns out that the device is entirely unsuited for precise temperature control as it only wakes up to transmit if the temperature changes by more than 2°C or humidity by more than 5%.
The "wake up" timer is said to be every 300s by defautl, however it comes set to 86400 seconds (24 hours). If you want to change it you need to press the "net" button once (or until the led lights, it's a bit random) and then send/save the new setting in Domoticz. If you don't do this any changes seem to time out quite quickly, and certainly before 24 hours!
Finally I have had it running for 11 days and the battery (CR2450) is already down to 34%.
So it seems that it's not much good for anything.

Gents,
I have four of these sensors. I test them in my bathroom, turning the ventilation on HI after the humidisty is detected.
I found two of them not showing proper humidity so far (one stopped following the others, showing something wrong and ended up as outdoor temperature sensor, second started to show constant 62% since 3 days). The battery life on the unit is short, I tried enrgizer battery as these delivered were soemthing from China, almost same result. So I decided to buy AA battery holders (called also 3V holders on aliexpress) and soldered the wires inside.
Anyway I would replace it with something more reliable, doesn't need to be a z-wave device, just something I can use with domoticz.

SAme here, purchased a HS1HT-Z+ and configured the time at 300 seconds (5 minutes). after a while domoticz did not get readings, zo configured polling a well and at 1 day the battery is at 3%.
i will go fot ESP8266 tasmota powred temp sensor that's got it's own power supply and i will put a mini 18650 ups in between.
The HS1HT-Z+ is useless, it't out of production i read also.
