Youless - import old data from youless after change of IP?

Post by Sjonnie2017 »

Hi All,

Due to a reconfiguration of my network my Youless LS120 has got a new IP address. As a result I have lost all historic data of the Youless in Domoticz. Of course all the data is still present in the Youless.

Is there a way to import the old data of the Youless back into Domoticz?

TIA

Greetz,

Sjonnie

Thanks for your reply! I have read the post you are referring to and I am struggling a bit to get this to work. For one I don't know the old idx of the youless meter. And I don't know which calendar I am supposed to be using (meter or multimeter?).

If you would be so kind to support me a bit more I would really appreciate that :)

TIA

Hi Jan,

Tx! I gave it a couple of tries but I was unsuccessful. I created a CSV from the table meter calendar of a backed up database and adjusted the IDX values to the new ones. I imported them into the database but unfortunately I cannot see the data. I was sure to remove the header line and the data sits there just fine. It just won't show :?

Any ideas?

As it happens by importing the CSV I have inadvertently restored the gas consumption. That's great!

But how do I restore my electricity/power consumption? I cannot find any reference to it in table Meter Calendar.

EDIT: YES! Got it! Electricity is not stored in "meter calendar" but in "multimeter calendar" Created a new CSV, deleted all records and imported the data back in. Now I have an (almost) complete history of my energy consumption. Only missing a couple days.

Thanks to all who have helped me :!:

Hi Sjonnie,

Glad that it worked for you.
Maybe a point of attention:
Don't delete the header data
Sometimes the csv file has a format for the date as 03-02-2020
Most time the dateformat in the dbase is as 2020-03-02
Sochange the format in the csv accordanly to the format in your database.

Glad to be able to help you

Jan

Hi Jan,

I checked the header and made sure the data was all formatted the way Domoticz likes it ;) I just love my restored charts

Thanks for your support!
