Re: Anyone uses Shinobi CCTV?
I've spent about 20 hours playing with it in the last couple of months,
I ended up going for Blue Iris running in a Windows Virtual Machine, the new web interface in Blue Iris 5 (recently released) is really good, probably the best camera surveillance web interface I've ever seen. I was evaluating solutions to replace my Synology Surveillance Station setup, very impressed with Blue Iris.
If reading reviews / watching YouTube make sure your looking at Blue Iris 5, the interface has been re-designed.

Re: Anyone uses Shinobi CCTV?
Spent about 5 hours evaluating ZoneMinder, the user interface did not meet my expectations (watch some YouTube videos, you will see).
Haven't tried Motion Eye, I wasn't really keen on having to setup a Windows VM specifically for Blue Iris but in my opinion it's worth it.
There is a huge community of Blue Iris users, look on the IP Cam Talk forum https://ipcamtalk.com/
ipcamtalk also has a discount at the moment to buy Blue Iris 5 so check that if you think you will be buying it.

Re: Anyone uses Shinobi CCTV?
I've used Zoneminder for a while, it's a "creepy old thing".
Shinobi i've tested out, it's ok and there are many options, but in my opinion it's a little bit "confused".
And i've MotionEye in operation in several instances. Simple, small & nice GUI. I really recommend this. -> Check it out.
