Z-Wave network completely messed up

Getting pretty desperate here, so hope somebody can help me out.

I have a Z-Wave network with 25+ nodes. Saturday, out of the blue, all devices started switching on and off again. After some checks, I saw the following behaviour: 5 switches (3 Qubino wall switches and 2 Aeotec motion sensors) cause all devices in the network to switch on, when those 5 devices are switched on.
This includes the roller shutters. Only after the roller shutters have put the blinds down fully, switches (including the wall switches) can be used again (if you try to switch something on, it will simply switch off again).

I've tried a couple of things, including changing the alarm behaviour of all my devices (no actions), but this did not solve it. In the meanwhile, I unplugged the motion sensors and made sure the 3 Qubino's cannot be switched.

After a lot of trying (including unsuccessful upgrade to latest Domoticz beta and restore of the database), I suspected it may be something in the controller. After all, the chances of 5 devices breaking at the same time, is smaller than one device that controls them all. So tried a soft reset of my Aeotec stick. No result. So then a hard reset of the controller and start over with the configuration, which is where I currently am.

However: I am not able to include any devices and perhaps even worse, the 5 devices still switch on my entire network.

Did I f* up by doing a hard reset, without first excluding all individual devices?
How come those devices are still connected and responding to each other, without a controller?
What to do next?

Isn't it just your grouping that got messed up? Are there any ID's other than 1 in there?

Don't know exactly what you mean? You mean the group/scene setup? No changes there recently, so no reason it would suddenly show this behaviour.
And what do you mean by other ID's than 1?

Open to suggestions, since I don't know the root cause yet.

Update after doing some more work:

- I'm now using a Windows tool called ZWaveController by Zensys Tools. This is a good tool to easily include/exclude devices, while having the Z-Wave stick in your laptop.
- I'm in the process of doing a factory reset of each Z-Wave device. This is not enough to have them removed from the network completely.
- After the factory reset of the switch, it would expect it to be excluded from the network. Somehow, even though not visible, it appears the switches are still stored on the stick somewhere. An exclude using ZWaveController reports that the devices is excluded.
- After that, it can be included again

So far so good for my Qubino devices. The Fibaro devices are even harder to fix, so some more investigation needed.

I mean this:

Settings -> Hardware.
Click "Setup" near the Zwave hardware.
Then click the "Groups" tab.

Ah those, I see. No, nothing but 1s there...apart from one Qubino device that had 1.1, but that has been working for years.

Now building it up from scratch. Also found a way to exclude and include Fibaro switches again.

So I guess it will be ok in the end. Just a lot of work and no clue what caused it...

Sounds strange. Do you expose your controller port 8080 to the internet??

Nope? Why, is that a known weakness of Domoticz?

Not just a Domoticz thing. Any device on your LAN that can be accessed from outside, for example via port forwarding, is a security risk, no matter how strong the password, especially if using http. At any rate, you should use the setup feature to only allow your LAN devices to access the controller if you don't need the external access.

I was thinking that maybe someone could have got in and started playing with your system....
