little help to learn about rfxcom and RF signals

Post by pvklink »

I bought three remote keys (sonoff remote with ABCD buttons) and want to use them with my new created alarm system with domoticz.
All three remote keys have the same id so i cant see who is enabling/disabling the alarm.

So i use rfxmgr to programm the keys with my own ID's.
I disabled all the protocols but lightning 4...
I simply changed the id code XXXXXX to XXXXX1, XXXXX2, XXXXX3, XXXXX4 for all four buttons and all other keyfobs.. SO FAR SO GOOD, my first programming of devices..

When i look in the devicemanager of domotics.
Domoticz originally had Type=Security, Subtype=x10 security and data = arm away
I now have Type=Lightning 4, subtype=pt2262 en data =open

Question 1
Which protocol is best to programm these remotes for an alarm system (i know it is cheap stuff, is there some encrypted protocol )
Question 2
Do i have to use other protocols to get the original protocols and values for this remote back, which ?
Question 3
Which protocols can i use with these devices ?
Raspberry (raspbian on rpi 3) , Domoticz Beta, dzVents , RFXtrx433e, P1, Hue, Yeelight, Zwave+, X10, ESP(easy), MQTT,Weather Underground, System Alive Checker, Domoticz Remote Server to RPI with Google Assistant,
Jablotron connection, Ikea
