Cooking timer in Dashticz?

Hi all,

I have Dashticz running on an Orange Pi / Ubuntu with 15'" touchscreen (USB). I intend that setup to replace a 10" Android tablet which I currently use in our kitchen. One of the things I'm not able to get up & running is some sort of cooking timer. I use that quite often on the tablet. Should be someting simple, just an up & down counter for the minutes, start, stop, repeat or something. Any ideas for this?

I am thinking about a dzvents script in commination with a virtual switch and thermostat. The thermostat being your timer choice which will drive the switch with an 'on after x minutes'

Cool ideas! I tried a few online counters akready within a butron and a frame but did not try the one above yet, will try it!
