I'm using Domoticz on my Synology NAS (DS412+).
I tried to update my previous version of Domoticz by installing version v4.0.10717-8 (no Python) on top of it.
This caused all kinds of problems which I could not solve so I decided to go for a complete clean/new installation.
I uninstalled Domoticz and removed every Domoticz related file I could find on my NAS.
Then I downloaded and installed domoticz_cedarview-6.2_4.0.10717-8 NoPython.spk from 'Jumbotroll' (I already installed the UsbSerialDrivers in the past).
After installation I got the message that no devices where defined (which is not surprising
) and I got to the Hardware page where I registered my Zwave controller, my Philips Hue Bridge and the Dummy device to define Virtual Switches. I also created two virtual switches.I saw some message in the log which indicated that Zwave and Philips Hue devices where connecting. I decided to leaf that running and look at it the next day.
When I login now and click on Hardware nothing happens. The hardware page does not show at all.
Also when I click Devices nothing happens. The devices page does not show either.
When I go to the Dashboard page I can see the two virtual switches I created at installation time. When I try to modify such a switch it shows me the message 'undefined'.
Finally, there is nothing in the log file that indicates what could be wrong. So I'm really stuck here and have no clue what is wrong. Any help appreciated
Final thoughts: could this be caused by a rights issue that prevents Domoticz from save it's configuration (it can write to the log file)
Should Domoticz run under s special user? If so, what is the name and whats rights does this user need?
