Delete excluded device

Post by Golgautier »

Hello,

I use Domoticz under an ARM car with a USB Zwave dongle (aeotec) and I have last version. I added a DSB05 device (AOTEC multisensor) but it worked very badly (all devices were not created, values were strange). I tried to include it again (It worked for another device before) but it created a new entry in my device list (Zwave setup). I excluded it, but only new device was excluded, old one is still here in "Unknown" state.
I used delete button to remove it from list, but it come back after each reboot :-(

Do you know how to remove it and make my device list clean ?

Regards.

In the setting there is a setting "accept new hardware" when switch off you should not receive it anymore. But you won't receive any device.

When you you switch it back in you will receive it again.

Oups, I was not clear...

It is not a "device" (Domoticz term) that I want to delete, but a node in the zwave list.

Hello,

Thank you... I know this procedure. It is very good to force zwave to actualize node list with last config files of devices released with last version of openzwave.

In my case, issue is : my sensor is out of the network because of FW upgrade, but my dongle know it (because it was previously included in the network). I just need to delete node from known devices in my controler... but how ? :-(

Hi
I have on my Raspberry Pi2 adapter RaZberry Z-Wave. I have add some devices to conroller. But two devices i reset and not excluded before. But now i see this devoces in configuration Hardware in Domoticz. I delete it by go to Hardware>setup Razberry and select devices and click on DELETE. But this devices has address 0x07 and 0x08. Now when i add the same device to controller by include this device give number address next 0x09 but not 0x07 and 0x08. I think that in memory controller my deleted devices from 0x07 and 0x08 are still and i only delete from database Domoticz. How i can remove this device from memory controller to free address 0x07 and 0x08 and can add this address to next device.

Please help me,

You will always receive a new ID, so what? No problem in that.

For what reason? There's no problem in some gaps in them.
If you absolutely want that you should exclude everything and hard reset the controller.
