Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
I can control all my devices using the Alexa app without issue.
However, the voice control says that there is a network error.
The only thing I can think of is that it is trying to connect to my old HA-Bridge Hue emulator solution.....but I deleted all of these devices in the app. (But they have identical names).
Any ideas?
I wish Alexa app gave logs!

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
How do I refresh my Controlicz device list from Alexa app?
Just updated the name of a device in Domoticz and performed a search for new devices in Alexa. The device name did not change.

All seems to be working well except Logitech Harmony hub activities (which I can access through Domoticz web interface) aren't appearing in my Controlicz account (or alexa app). I do have the ones I want to use in a room plan.
Here is a screenshot
Am I doing anything wrong?
(I changed speakers to a different icon to see if that would work to no avail)
Hi - will fix this today and drop a note in here

Maybe try forgetting it in the Alexa website, and discovering again?

annoyingly the only way to get temp sensors (which as devices aren't supported) behaving as expected is to treat them as water heaters. I have raised a ticket with Google to get touch controls in the app for them, so you can query in app, as well as by voice

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Hello there,
So, I am trying to setup Controlicz with my Domoticz (on rPI) and Google Home App on a Huawai Phone.
There are 2 problems i encounter.
1) I made a user in domoticz called 'ControliczUser'. Gave it a password and 'User' rights. Active menus are Switches.
I then added this user credentials with my ip and port in my controlicz user profile page.
In the domoticz user i added a total of 8 lights.
Now, i was expecting only those 8 lights would show up in the controlicz device page. But now, ALL devices i have in domoticz show.
How can I change this? Or am I doing something wrong in domoticz?
2) When trying to add controlicz in google home as a device. I click controlicz, and then login and click on 'Allow'.
The page loads, goes back to google home, but now controlicz won't show up as a linked device. After restarting my phone, and even deleting the whole 'Home' in the Google Home app, it still doesnt work.
Is this a known bug?
I hope someone can help.
Further information:
Domoticz is running on a local raspberry PI.
Port forwarding for the http and the https port is open.
In controllicz i tried my duckdns and my public ip to connect. Both connections work.
Google Home app is running on a Huawai Mate 10 Pro.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Hi - the issue with user permissions has ocurred a few times, for a few people. It is typically fixed by restarting Domoticz, which i think refreshes the security rights for users.Borrel wrote: ↑Sunday 22 September 2019 11:45

Once you've done that, try connecting Controlicz again, and it should be fine now.
If not, you can drop me a note from inside your Controlicz profile

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Thabk you for the quick reply.
In the mean time.I got everything setup with gooogle home.
What workes is to put my phones wifi of, and try adding it again. that workes. But I guess there is some delay\bug on the side of google home.
Domoticz is restarted but still all.devices are shown in controllicz. Not a real big problem since only the lights i put in a room are in google home now.
Only thing im not really satisfied with is the delay.
Google assistant already has a small delay when talking.
Next delay is the communication between google home to controllicz, then from controllicz to domoticz.
Is there a way to speed up things?

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
In terms of latency, currently there's limited opportunity for improvement, but that may change. It's typically 1-2 seconds from your request to response back to the google home (that's total response time).
If it's significantly more, let me know, and i can investigate specifics
Re: User permissions - that's still not right. If you've got the correct devices assigned to the user, and only certain devices in a room plan, then there's still something amiss with your setup.

I'll chase - the ticket is to add touch controls to water heaters, which seems like it will be quicker for Google to add

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Since a while my temperate meters are not recognized anymore.
They show up in GH as Boiler (water heater)
Is there a way to work around this issue?

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Since a week or so my google home speak less to me, for all item in the living room.
When i say "Turn on Tv lights" google home turns on the lights and gives a "bloing" sound.
But en i say "turn on the bedroom lights" she resonds "Oke turning on bed room lights" , same for hallway and all other lights (not in the "livingroom" )
very strange

Google seem to have silently rolled this out to their Home devices (except hubs). Alexa offers the same, but you got the choice

any updates about this?
This is very annoying, and -before the "update"- they were working flawlessly.
Now they're just grey water heaters - any workaround while Google fixes this please?
Thanks!
