Best Domoticz people,
I am dealing with a 'problem' that my wife loved to be solved with Chromecast and Google Home.
We are using the Google home daily to control te TV and AV receiver (Marantz nr1607) in combination with a Harmony hub. (Watching tv, movies and listening to music is all done with the Chromecast in the receiver)
The basic controls are just working fine, We can ask Google to turn on the TV, and the TV and receiver go on. If we ask Google to pause a movie, it is going to pause, so no problems there.
The only thing I want to achieve now is that when I say to Google to turn off the television, is that Google first stops the stream, and after that turning off the television.
Right now it is working like this:
we first have to ask Google Home "Hey Google,....Stop" (the stream stops) and then again aks Google "Hey Google,... Turn of television"
What we rather want to see, is when we say, "Hey Google, ...Turn of TV" That he first stops the steam, and after that turning off the TV. (without the need to first say "Hey Google, ...Stop"
Is there a way to achieve this with Chromecast and Domoticz?
I saw something like plugin manager and within the manager is a plugin called Google Home / Chromecast. Is that one of the things I need for that?

good evening,
You can do that in your Harmony, i believe.i have all kinds of settings, like volume when Harmony starts or ends a sequence.
Hope this helps.
Cheers, Hans

But is it also possible to stop the Chromecast then?
I thought you could not do that with the harmony hub.
And if that works (and will solve this problem) Is there a plugin in Domoticz to do more advanced stuff?
Because also one thing I really want. Is that when I say "Hey Google, ...Turn on the receiver" That it will turn on the receiver, and automatically plays a Spotify playlist on the Crhomecast.

Goodevening,
Yes, you can do anything you like.. I use the Harmonyhub CLI to have full control over everything.. you can flip a switch in Domoticz and let the chromecasts speak.. or let them play music from logitech media server...
Cheers

Thx a lot NederlandseHans

I was really thinking that I had to do a lot of programming and use plugins within Domoticz to get it to work. This makes my life so much easier.
I will let you know if I get it to work!

Hi Hans,
I had read to fast through your comment, so I was running downstairs and see if I could manage it to work within the Harmony app. But I think i have to do something with the hub, before I can do what I want right? You are talking about HarmonyHub CLI?
Can you maybe be a bit more specific? I am a but new with the hub itself!
Thx a lot already...
