Hi all!
I’m moving from my LightwaveRF setup - to z-wave+
I’ve got a aeotec gen 5 usb stick.
I’ve successfully added a aeotec gen 6 plug - in hardware > openz > setup > added node.
But when I go to “devices” - I don’t see the newly added plug.
Eventually I got it to work - but is there an easier way of getting the new nodes to appear in devices?
(Does domoticz allow reporting of energy usage for plugs - or do you need to add a separate “utility” for each?)
Thanks for the help!
Node added... how to show in devices???

Re: Node added... how to show in devices???
I solved the issue - i had to go to "Control Panel" in the drop-down options on nodes page.
Then I changed the device status to "on" within the open z-wave control panel.
This let domoticz see the new plug

Go to Setup->Devices. There you will see all the nodes added. This is where every node added to domoticz is listed. To the right on the page, you will see a green circle with a white arrow pointing right. Click on the green circle to "add device". This will let domoticz use that particular device. Zwave usually have multiple devices per hardware node.
Re: Node added... how to show in devices???
The nodes added didn’t go to domoticz devices - that was my problem.
So they were being added to “nodes” under the openzwave:
But when you went to setup > devices - the new nodes were not under devices:
To get domoticz to “see” the new node as an unused device.
You had to go to openzwave control panel from the drop down in openzwave setup - and change the device state.
