Hi,
What is the best notification service to use when using android and iphone?
Atm I'm using gcm but messages usually takes some time, from seconds to minutes, even when priority is emergency.
thanks

Re: Best notification service
Pushbullet has a limit on the number of push messages
Telegram is my favorite too.

Re: Best notification service
I use Pushbullet as it works easy, but i would rather use Telegram instead.
Untill now i can't get it to work at all, created a bot, tried some but unfortunately did not succeed.

Re: Best notification service
Telegram in use for years now.
Easy as I only need one app for notifications and chats.
Receive notifications from domoticz, pictures from camera's, messages from other (web) services.
Love it.

Re: Best notification service
Pushover, for few dollars
It has been a while since testing others, but what I like most is that you can give different notification types, from strong (alarm, even when phone on not disturb) to silent.
Cons: only text, no images

Just activated pushover, works like a charm.
Re: Best notification service
Telegram Voice Calls are awesome. It will ring your phone and speak the notification. I use it for critical alerts (like alarm)

Re: Best notification service
I'm using Google Cloud Messaging.
To activate it on your smartphone install the Domoticz app.
I'm not shure but I think the app is no longer maintained.
Anyway, it works.
BTW
NTFY looks very OK because it's open source.
