Quigg GT-1000

Post by Tweak »

Hello,

Some weeks ago we bought blinds (Somfy) they came with a remote.. So i thought would be nice if i could control them with a raspberry pi.
So i directly installed Domoticz but after some minutes i found out we got a Somfy IO motor. That means encrypted signals and not 433mhz.

So not possible to control the blinds.. But since i already installed Domoticz maybe i could control this: https://www.gebruikershandleiding.com/Q ... 11333.html

It should be very easy to control 433mhz sockets if u look on google.. But this thing the Quigg GT-1000 seems to be difficult? Can someone tell me if its possible to control them with rc-switch and how? (Pilight seems to work with it? https://github.com/pilight/pilight/blob ... g_gt1000.c) i tried to install pilight for testing but installing is like not possible for "noobs" and im not going to retry that.

The only thing i can find is RFLink but that is expensive.. This is what i used to test: https://www.hobbyelectronica.nl/product ... ender-set/

On the transmitter i used a real small antenna https://www.hobbyelectronica.nl/product ... ne-433mhz/ and on the receiver i placed a wire as antenna.

Im going to try and explain what i tried:

Run RFSniffer and press on button on remote. Results most of the time nothing.. But the socket goes on.
When i place the remote ON the receiver and press the button it sometimes gives a code!

Codesend (code) does nothing.. even when i place the transmitter on the socket.

Running the sniffer and try to send a code to the sniffer is not working either.. When i put the transmitter very close it does recieve the code.

So i think i have 2 problems, 1 problem very crappy hardware maybe this is better: https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/32571703 ... 383f3LTSrT ? And i think sending that code with codesend is not going to work..

Sorry for the bad writing, i hope someone can help me.

Edit: i found this: https://diyprojects.io/how-build-rflink ... -domoticz/ so it's not that expensive to build it..

Today i received the new 433 mhz receiver and sender.. Only thing that is missing is the case.
Ofcours i cant wait to check if it's working.. So connected everything to the mega board with antenna's etc.
And yes! RFLink auto detects the Quigg socket/remote all works fine! Topic can be closed.
