Qubino Thermostat ZMNHID1 stops working

Post by ThomasD »

Dear All,

I have a Pi-4 with Domoticz 4.10717 installed with a AEON Labs ZW090 Z-Stick Gen5 EU. The installed devices are working correctly.

Now recently I installed a Qubino Thermostat ZMNHID1 H1S5P2 device. After Inclusion of the device, everything is working fine. But after some time, the devices turn "red" in Domoticz and are not actualized anymore.

For testing, I did an exclusion and inclusion again, but unfortunately I got the same result, the devices do not stay functional (e.q. Thermostat setpoint, Thermostat mode and Temperature) are not actualized nor working after some time.

I hope some body can help me with this. :-)

Awaiting your reply.

Did you enable polling in Domoticz?

I have several Qubino ZMNHJD1. It's not exactly the same device, it's a "pilot wire" relay for controlling heaters, with an optional temperature sensor. But I believe the hardware is very close to the ZMNHID1. I observed that mine stops working after some time if I enable the polling in domoticz. The only way to having it working again is by shutting of the AC completely.

So unfortunately it seems that Qubino firmware has a bug causing it to freeze after some time when enabling polling.

If you disable polling, it will still work as a thermostat, but the temperature device will not update automatically in Domoticz.
