Topic on Domoticz Linky plugin disappeared

Post by Barberousse »

Hello,

It seems that the topic on Domoticz Linky plugin disappeared (it was in Scripting and Automation/Python) or has been deleted. Do you know what happened?

Is that because the topic language changed from english to french (this plugin in used only in France)? I don't see any forum rules that forbid it. And I didn't received any warning. Could I have a backup to move/copy the topic to https://easydomoticz.com/forum for instance?

Thank you.

Yes that was the reason.

There have been numerous warnings about English being the forum language and in the past members were warned about this.
These warnings in the forum or via PM did not led to any response.
I looked if the deleted topic could be restored but it's no longer available. Sorry for that.

I never received any PM before brutal deleting, and the "all in english" rule that seems obvious for you is seemingly not that obvious for everyone, moderators should consider to write it clearly in some forum rules somewhere.

Too bad they didn't simply lock the thread or keep some backup before deleting.
