Sometimes when I change the Permit Join timeout from 0 to 255 the Zigate doesn't go into join mode, the blue light doesn't start flashing, etc
Sometimes restarting Domoticz or doing the software reset eventually puts it into Permit Join mode
Sometimes when I change the Permit Join timeout from 255 back to 0 the Zigate stays in Permit Join mode and the light continues flashing
Sometimes stopping Domoticz, removing and re-attaching the Zigate fixes that
I've noticed that the Hardware tab UI is somewhat troublesome, I'm not sure if that is a factor, sometimes I find that even though the Zigate properties are displayed, the Update button is not ready, I have to click the Zigate entry in the table at the top of the page and then the Update button changes colour.
Another problem I've noticed is that because the Update button is at the top and the Add button is at the bottom, people sometimes click Add by mistake and add a second Zigate instance. Could the plugin detect this error and refuse to create multiple instances on the same device node?

From 255 to 0 , that is correct, it doesn't work. You need to play a trick and do in 2 steps. 255 to 1 , restart the plugin and then 1 to 0 restart the plugin.pocock wrote: ↑Monday 12 August 2019 10:48 Sometimes when I change the Permit Join timeout from 0 to 255 the Zigate doesn't go into join mode, the blue light doesn't start flashing, etc

This is not going to be fixed as we have now the Web Admin pages
From 0 to 255, this looks more strange. What type of Zigate do you have PiZiGate or USB-TTL ? Logs would be interesting to see exactly the sequence.
As regards to the last point, this is a Domoticz issue, and the plugin cannot do anything here, as it doesn't have a clue about the outside world.
