Can not get minimote remote working with domoticz open zwave

Just bought a zwave remote, a minimote. Updated to firmware v1.19. I am helas on beta domoticz with openzwave 1.6. Included the minimote, includes domoticz, learn button minimote. So far so good. Try a thousand times to set 250 to scene mode, yes with minimote
awakend but no luck. Never A change in setting, not for 250, not for the 4 buttons And sure no chance to add a minimote button to a scene, well should I throw the remote in a corner?????? Any help please.

Do you use the OCP for setting the value, the image you include suggest so.
Try to use the Domoticz panel - Hardware - Zwave settings - select the device and update the setting and press the Apply button.

No way for a sollution, tryed a thousand times as I said. Thanks for your response

Indeed the awaken time is minimal of the minimote, but so many times I tryed so it must be ozw 1.6 I believe.

There is an issue with the display of the mode, but the device does accept setting to "scene mode". But after waking up the minimote (log press learn button) ozwcp and Domoticz will revert to showing "group". I've put this issue on my todo list.

After this, I was able to add scene's and they trigger by pressing the Minimote button.

Got it working at last, had to wipe all controller and nodes and start all over again, now minimote works in scene mode.
