NeoCoolcam Siren battery status

Post by samuelAN »

Hello,

I have installed a NeoCoolcam siren on my domoticz system. Everything works great since I am able to turn on the siren and modify the Zwave settings.

Nevertheless, I have no battery status reported in my device list... the battery level is always locked to "-"

I have tried to enable polling which doesn't change anything. The siren is installed since many weeks, so the battery status should be available in Domoticz...

thanks for help..

Samuel.

Hello,

Some additional information... When I try to poll the battery status from the Domoticz control pannel, I get the following lines in the LOG:

2019-03-01 08:25:42.744 OpenZWave: Value_Added: Node: 15 (0x0f), CommandClass: INDICATOR, Label: Indicator, Instance: 1
2019-03-01 08:25:42.744 Status: OpenZWave: Unhandled class: 0x87 (INDICATOR), NodeID: 15 (0x0f), Index: 0, Instance: 1

Seems that the OpenZwave config file does not support the battery status retrieving?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks!

I have the same siren and the battery status is on the devices Alarm Type and Alarm Level.
So it is there, but it is strange that the battery level is not on the "main" device.

B.t.w. I have the same "OpenZWave: Unhandled class: 0x87 (INDICATOR)" logging, but I do not think that handles the battery status.
