Re: HomeHabit Dashboard - Updates
Great app. Thanks for sharing. Easy to setup and configure.
- It would be great if config can be imported and exported for easy transfer and setup to other devices. e.g. multiple tablets in the house
- Nice to have feature would also be to auto import device names from domoticz rather than having to give each device after you linked it a descriptive name.
- Lastly hopefully the pricing model will not go the same route as Imperihome. Though a great app the monthly subscription did not really fit my pocket maybe it changed since but I don't mind a $10 lifetime or even $10 per year even.

Re: HomeHabit Dashboard - Updates
Thank you! And thanks for trying the app.
Import/export is already available and can be found in Settings. It will export config to a JSON file that can be stored in any available storage, including cloud storage, on that device such as Google Drive.
In the latest release, Beta 17, when creating widget, if you start by selecting item (device), it will pre-populate widget label from selected item by default (screenshot of the first screen below).
We did not have plans to have monthly subscription for this app. Most likely the app price will be one-time per device.

Re: HomeHabit Dashboard - Updates
Standard binds not work as shutter in homehabit . I change all my nodes as percentage binds... and all works fine, but as I checked - homehabit sometimes lost connectin with domoticz - without any info. To fix it i have to switch off-on on domoticz platform - and then all works fine.
In dimmers/shutter controls shoud be vertical bar (as an option) - it's more natural - now is only horizontal bar
I wait for next releases - it's realy great app for domoticz servers....

Re: HomeHabit Dashboard - Updates
and one question... is possible to run HomeHabit on Android 4.2.2 ???? My second wall tablet is 10 inch old one with 4.2.2 Android. Google Play said: is not compatible with your device...
Re: HomeHabit Dashboard - Updates
Dimmer orientation is based on the size of the widget, so when widget is 1x2 - the control will be vertical.
If that does look different for you, please post a screenshot of dashboard.
The lowest Android support is 4.4. Unfortunately, 4.2 version is too old and doesn't support some APIs that application relies on.

This looks great. Nice job!
Have you looked into supporting the Mozilla WebThings Gateway?

Glad to hear that you like the app!blauwebuis wrote: ↑Wednesday 17 July 2019 10:17 Have you looked into supporting the Mozilla WebThings Gateway?

We considered WebThings earlier, but there weren't enough requests about it yet, probably because WebThings is still a relatively young project.
Are you using WebThings yourself?

Re: HomeHabit Dashboard - Updates
I am. I'm very happy with it. Much more user friendly than other solutions. Non-geeky people can use this. Support is growing quickly too.
Re: HomeHabit Dashboard - Updates
That's great! Their API is developed and reasonably documented, so support should be possible. But we didn't evaluate it in details yet.
I will let you know when there are any updates.

Re: HomeHabit Dashboard - Updates
If I have shutter as DIMMER, to proper control it, I have to get 2 widget - first - on/off type and second - like dimmer (with percent bar). In widget 1x1 i have only horizontal bar (there is no place for 1x2 sizes on one dashboard for 12 shutters .
after few days I can say - HomeHabit is very fast, functional, ergonomic and good view application!.
I wait for:
- change size of grid.
- agregate switch/dimmers in placehold (like readings in room placehold)
- readings in room polaceholder with gauage look.
- information about lost connection with domoticz server.
Best Regards.

Re: HomeHabit Dashboard - Updates
I tried homhabit and also find it very interesting, with great potential !
Suggestions:
- (already asked and in the plan): ability to densify tiles. On my phone I have only 3 x 5 possible tiles, which is not enough I think.
- (difficult): access to logs and/or historical charts.
- (easy): have passive items, such as possibility to add a fixed text or symbols e.g. a line (V or H)
- (probably uneasy) cameras: ability to enter rtsp link, not from domoticz.
- (easy but design is difficult for engineers): really miss some colors...

Re: HomeHabit Dashboard - Updates
In domoticz not work property:
1. Live Streaming in aditional modal window.
2. Slider for dimmers has bad scalling on small screens.
Will be great if HomeHabbit will handle RTSP streams

Re: HomeHabit Dashboard - Updates
I'm using HomeHabit for quite a while now. I'm loving it, but I'm missing some things:
* Can't add my doorlock (danalock)
* Scenes stays active while they are actually off
Keep up the good work!

Re: HomeHabit Dashboard - Updates
I realy like this app, I have only 1 big problem, the design ^^.
There is still no way to change some color for text/background or a "picture" widget ?

You can put an image in the background, if you want to. Click the wheel, then "backdrop".Thorgal789 wrote: ↑Wednesday 09 October 2019 17:58 I realy like this app, I have only 1 big problem, the design ^^.

Re: HomeHabit Dashboard - Updates
Thx, but my problem is not realy the background but the widget, all have same color and background, the design is good but too austere ^^.
But changing the background is a good idea to add some pictures, right.
