Hello,
I just hab my second 7'' Firedisplay been dead within one year. So I tell you, do not use Amazons fire displays for permanent usage.
So I wanted to ask you what kind of Displays for visualisation are you using. Which size and which brand. Something which is of higher quality or at least better than the fire Tablets.
Additionally, what are you running there? I used to us Imperi Home, which worked liek a charm, but I understand using eg. Aurora Theme might du the job es well.?
MAny thanks
What brand of Control Display are you using

I'm running on a 7" Teclast (AliExpress) tablet for quite some time now (Dashticz in an Android browser). I did get rid of the battery (directly attached powersupply to printed circuit board only by microUSB).
Next time I'd choose a 10" screen

Do you have some info about the Teclast displays?
Is it easy to open en modify it?
At the moment i have a 10" inch touchscreen. But is a PC display. Therefor i also have a mini-pc which runs on win-10.
This is running my own dashboard design. I never used a tablet, because of the battery.
When removing a battery from a phone, it can give problems that it can't find a battery.
How is this on this tablet? Or is this in de modification?

Re: What brand of Control Display are you using
I used a youtube video on how to open it. It's not that hard, I completely removed the battery and tested whether it was running with USB power only and it is (needs sufficient current). No specific modificationshoeby wrote: ↑Sunday 12 May 2019 21:07 Do you have some info about the Teclast displays?

I've been using multiple Fire 7s without issue. Did you root them and install Cynogen or is it the default Amazon OS? Using them for more than 2 yrs
I'm going to try a Fire 10 and see if I can get my cameras and sensor info displayed on the screen concurrently
