Openzwave + aeotec gen5 + fibaro means problems

Post by naitsirhc »

Hi All,
In my house there several blinds which are equipted with Fibaro roller shutters 2. To expand my network, I recently bought a fibaro roller shutter 3.
Un fortunately my network didn’t detect the shutter 3 in a correct way. So I upgraded my network. Until the network always was totally fine.
When I updated Domoticz, the troubles started. My 3 shutters (all the same modules) were identified as fibaro shutter 2. However one reacts different, 2 have been identified as Blind percentage. The third has been indentified as Inverted Blind percentage, to act the same as the other 2.
Shutter 3 is able to send the shutter down, but unfortunately it won’t go up. It looks the system hangs itself after a couple of commandos. First I get some time out from the devices and then Domoticz turns offline….(raspberry is running)
My system is Domoticz beta (4.10935) with openzwave 1.6. Zwave dongle is Aeotec USB gen 5. The modules are 3x fibaro roller shutter 2 / 2x shutter model 3 and 1 fibaro dimmer.

Some advice would be appreciated
Thanks in advance

and updating to 4.11062 doesn't work either.
I will try a new setup. Perhaps the combo RPI4 + Raspbian Buster + zwave isn't that good?
